Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to support day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
- Analyze the local market and develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the defined territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal allocation of resources (e.g., budgets, time) within the territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to effectively and persuasively communicate with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budgets.
- Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
- BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
- Valid driverβs license and clean driving history.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of above-average results.
- βHunterβ mentality; fortitude to sell and compete.
- Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
- Ability to travel (including overnights) and attend out-of-territory HQ/training/sales meetings.
- Must reside within territory geography.
