Role Summary

The NeuroHealth Sales Specialist will join a psychiatry-focused sales team responsible for the performance of an approved long-acting injectable, as well as promoting existing Psychiatry products in the South Bend, IN area. The role delivers results by collaborating across teams and maintaining compliant, ethical interactions. The position requires aligning resources to organizational objectives, analyzing trends, building strong internal and external networks, and communicating effectively to guide customers toward solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment
  • Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training
  • Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals; sell in different settings of care and identify key business opportunities
  • Build rapport and relationships with employees and external contacts (HCPs and office staff) at all levels, responding to their needs
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
  • Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance and company effectiveness
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: Full-time documented business-to-business sales experience
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience; experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building effective customer relationships
  • Experience launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care

Skills

  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments; proficiency with technology
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies; experience in CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience calling on community mental health centers (CMHC) is a plus
  • Ability to travel as required (overnight/weekend travel)
  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
