Role Summary
National Field Trainer β Metabolics responsible for designing, developing, and delivering compliant learning solutions that increase effectiveness and credibility of participants; builds trust with key stakeholders; leverages learning platforms to limit duplicative efforts; mentors Rotational Trainers/Guest Trainers; integrates training with brand team plans and product knowledge across disease states and non-therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and delivers compliant learning solutions that increases effectiveness and credibility of participants
- Builds trust and credibility with key stakeholders through regular interaction, evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships
- Leverages existing Learning & Development core platforms and content within the specific Franchise/Brand training products, to limit duplicative efforts
- Demonstrates direct and open communication with key stakeholders resulting in positive relationships and mutual alignment
- Provides candid and specific verbal & written feedback resulting in training participants being aware of strengths and weaknesses including a plan for improved performance
- Recognizes the skill level of training participants and adjusts coaching and training techniques to meet the needs of individuals
- Develops Rotational Trainers and/or Guest Trainers by providing them a meaningful role in the class, one-to-one coaching including performance feedback
- Demonstrates and applies knowledge of all stakeholder businesses, strategies and priorities and integrates training activities into brand team business plans
- Recognized as a product and disease-state expert as well as an expert in non-therapeutic areas such as customer and business skills
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree
- Required: 3+ years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent experience
- Required: Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211, cGMP)
- Required: Project management experience and/or proven ability to manage in a matrixed organization
- Required: High performing sales track record and strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization
- Required: Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals at all levels of management to develop partnerships and align training with the business strategy
- Required: Proven ability to integrate business trends, brand strategies, and marketplace drivers into plans that drive competitive advantage to the organization
- Preferred: Rotational Trainer, District Sales Trainer, or Guest Trainer experience
