The National Field Trainer (NFT) supports a Brand or Franchise organization in the design and delivery of training solutions to a field sales organization, ensuring Training & Development and Brand Strategy are represented in all training programs. Accountable for building relationships with key stakeholders, managing multiple stakeholders at various levels, and delivering performance coaching, strategy alignment/execution, and training fundamentals to enhance participant learning.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and delivers compliant learning solutions that increase effectiveness and credibility of participants
- Builds trust and credibility with key stakeholders through regular interaction, evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships
- Leverages existing Learning & Development core platforms and content within Franchise/Brand training products to limit duplicative efforts
- Communicates directly and openly with stakeholders to achieve positive relationships and mutual alignment
- Provides candid and specific verbal/written feedback on strengths/weaknesses with a plan for improved performance
- Adjusts coaching and training techniques based on participants’ skill levels
- Develops Rotational Trainers and/or Guest Trainers via meaningful in-class roles and one-to-one coaching with performance feedback
- Applies knowledge of stakeholder businesses, strategies, and priorities; integrates training activities into brand team business plans
- Serves as product and disease-state expert and expert in non-therapeutic areas (e.g., customer and business skills)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (e.g., CFR 210/211, cGMP)
- Project management experience and/or ability to manage in a matrixed organization
- High-performing sales track record and understanding of commercial success drivers
- Ability to work with individuals at all management levels to develop partnerships and align training with business strategy
- Ability to integrate business trends, brand strategies, and marketplace drivers into competitive advantage plans
- Preferred: Rotational Trainer, District Sales Trainer, or Guest Trainer experience
