Roles and Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities)
- Provide strategic leadership to define and cultivate the ACE team culture and direction across the EMPAVELI franchise, aligned with the broader Patient Services vision.
- Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering with internal stakeholders to embed ACE business objectives in brand strategy execution.
- Develop, analyze, and communicate KPIs and field trends to leadership with data-driven recommendations.
- Enhance the patient training experience, delivering individualized home infusion education for patients with rare diseases.
- Evolve the ACE program by designing and executing initiatives to improve self-administration training and the patient journey.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing talent; foster a high-performance, empathetic, professional culture.
- Optimize tools and systems by collaborating on SOPs, CRM documentation, workflows, onboarding resources, field materials, and training platforms.
- Oversee day-to-day operations by managing ACE Team Leads, including coaching, analytics-driven performance review, and team development.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive ACE training program.
- Manage budgets and resource allocations with fiscal responsibility.
- Monitor vendor performance for ACE support quality and service level expectations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with Patient Services and Field Access leadership to integrate nurse educator support with specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and product delivery.
- Collaborate with internal partners (VAP, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Patient Advocacy) on patient education initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Model and promote company values with a patient-first approach.
Qualifications
- RN with an active and unrestricted license preferred (other healthcare professions such as RPH or PharmD may be considered).
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with focus on rare diseases.
- 5+ years supporting/managing home-based subcutaneous infusion or injection therapies.
- Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing, patient-facing team.
- Demonstrated success executing strategic vision.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Integrity and understanding of applicable rules, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Collaborative team player.
