MSL/Sr. MSL, Therapeutic Neurotoxins (TX, OK, NM)

Responsibilities:
- Focus on mastery of scientific content, materials, disease state, and the therapeutic area to establish as a scientific expert.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers to access current medical/scientific information.
- Present scientific information and education on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products across the product lifecycle to healthcare professionals.
- Support research initiatives and physician-initiated projects (e.g., site evaluation/identification, recruitment, investigator meetings, external expert identification, external collaboration management).
- Serve as an internal medical/scientific resource for medically accurate, balanced disease-state and product communications/materials consistent with regulatory guidelines.
- Build and collaborate with internal cross-functional partnerships; work with in-field commercial teams to develop and execute account plans.
- Provide ongoing training to medical affairs, field sales, and other internal personnel; maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge of product use and competitor data.
- Practice strategic segmentation and optimal resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with corporate/divisional policies and accurate, timely documentation for HCP interactions; maintain annual expenses within assigned budget parameters.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree required (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, APP such as Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) in a relevant scientific discipline; doctorate strongly preferred.
- Typically 0β2 years of relevant experience.
- Problem-solving and analytic skills to translate territory/corporate needs into actions.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software; excellent written/verbal communication.
- Ability to learn and apply skills in Scientific Storytelling, Identifying Mobilizers, and Active Listening.
- Meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination).
- Ability to learn and convey clinical and non-clinical technical information; engage audiences and help them understand and retain information.
- Willing to travel up to 75%.
- Must live in (or be willing to self-relocate within) the territory: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico.
