Job Title: Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a field-based scientific expert supporting scientific and business objectives for a designated therapeutic area across the product lifecycle in a territory.
- Establish expertise in scientific content, disease state, and therapeutic area.
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers.
- Present medical/scientific education to healthcare professionals across the therapeutic landscape.
- Support research initiatives and physician-initiated projects (e.g., site evaluation, recruitment, investigator meetings, external expert identification, external collaboration management).
- Provide medically accurate, balanced internal resources for disease-state/product communications consistent with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal partners and support account planning with in-field commercial teams.
- Provide training to medical affairs and field sales; stay current on clinical knowledge and competitor data.
- Practice strategic segmentation and optimal resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with corporate/divisional policies, accurate documentation for HCP interactions, and maintain annual expenses within budget.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Advanced degree required (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP); doctorate strongly preferred.
- 0–2 years relevant experience; Neuroscience/Migraine experience preferred.
- Problem-solving/analytic skills; ability to translate territory/corporate needs into action.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; excellent written/verbal communication.
- Ability to learn scientific storytelling, mobilizers, and active listening.
- Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and immunization proof).
- Ability to convey technical clinical and non-clinical information and engage audiences.
- Travel up to 75%.
