MSL / Senior MSL I, Dermatology (South Texas)

Role: Field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL I supporting AbbVie's immunology, oncology, and neuroscience therapeutic areas. Objectives: serve as a scientific expert, foster relationships with healthcare professionals, and support research initiatives. Responsibilities: develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders and researchers; present and educate on disease states, therapies, and pipeline products; support clinical research activities including investigator sites and external collaborations; provide scientific training to internal teams; and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. Requirements: advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or equivalent), minimum 2 years of relevant MSL experience for Senior MSL I, or 0-2 years for MSL; strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to travel up to 75%; and ability to obtain healthcare industry credentialing in assigned territory. Preferred: doctorate in health or clinical sciences. Work setup: field-based with significant travel.
