Role: Molecular Technologist β Solid Tumor at Caris, performing high complexity molecular techniques including nucleic acid extraction and next generation sequencing (NGS). Objectives: support cancer diagnostic testing through routine and accurate molecular workflows, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: execute SOP-driven procedures, operate and maintain laboratory equipment and liquid handlers, document quality control activities, participate in process improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage data tracking via LIMS. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field; 0-3+ years of molecular lab experience depending on level; proficiency in molecular techniques and data interpretation; familiarity with laboratory safety, quality systems, and regulatory standards. Preferred: Masterβs degree, experience with nucleic acid extraction, NGS, and laboratory safety protocols. High-Value: focus on solid tumor molecular diagnostics, including DNA methylation analysis, working within CLIA, CAP, FDA, ISO regulated environment. Work setup: on-site shift work in evening/night hours, including weekends and holidays, with physical demands requiring manual dexterity, visual acuity, and ability to handle hazardous materials.
