Molecular Technologist - Liquid Profiling (Multiple Shifts)

Role: Molecular Technologist – Liquid Profiling at Caris, performing high-complexity molecular techniques including blood processing, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and Next-Generation Sequencing for cancer biomarker analysis. Objectives: support molecular testing for precision medicine, ensuring assay quality, accuracy, and compliance. Responsibilities: sample preparation, molecular testing, equipment maintenance, inventory management, data documentation, quality control, and process improvements, under supervision. Requirements: Bachelor’s in scientific or medical technology field; for level I, <1 year experience; for level II, 3+ years molecular lab experience; proficiency in molecular techniques, troubleshooting, and data interpretation; MS Office skills. Preferred: Master’s degree, RNA/DNA extraction, NGS proficiency, biohazard safety knowledge. High-Value: focus on liquid biopsy samples, DNA/RNA extraction, molecular techniques, regulated GxP environment, and CLIA high-complexity testing. Work setup: multiple shifts (days, evenings, nights), possible weekend/holiday work; physical ability to lift 30 lbs, handle biohazardous materials, and perform sterile procedures.
