Molecular Technologist I (Tues - Sat 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

Role: Molecular Technologist I performs complex patient sample testing in a regulated clinical laboratory, primarily focusing on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows. Responsibilities include preparing NGS libraries, extracting nucleic acids, conducting hybridization capture, operating automated liquid handling and sequencing instruments, maintaining quality and efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance through documentation and SOP adherence. The role requires collaboration with senior personnel on process improvements and investigation of non-conformance events. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a biological, chemical, or life science; 6+ months of molecular lab experience in a CAP/CLIA setting; relevant state licensure. Preferred: 1+ years of molecular lab experience, MB-ASCP certification, familiarity with DNA techniques, high-throughput platforms, LIMS, and laboratory safety protocols.
