Role: Molecular Technologist I performing patient sample testing in a regulated molecular diagnostics lab. Responsibilities: prepare NGS libraries, extract nucleic acids, perform hybridization, operate automation platforms, ensure workflow quality, maintain records per GDP, conduct equipment maintenance, assist in SOP revisions, participate in quality investigations, and adhere to safety protocols. Requirements: Bachelor's in a biological, chemical, or life science; 6 months molecular lab experience in a CAP/CLIA setting; state or county licensure as required. Preferred: 1+ years molecular lab experience, MB-ASCP certification, familiarity with DNA manipulation, sequencing chemistry, high-throughput platforms, and LIMS; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication. High-Value: molecular diagnostics, NGS, patient sample testing, regulated lab environment, SOP compliance, experience with DNA techniques, and safety protocols. Work Setup: onsite at FMI location in Boston; schedule varies; regular attendance required.
