Position Summary
The Molecular Science Liaisons communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and other interested parties), primarily through face-to-face discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in oncology. Travel within an assigned region is frequent (~80%). They gather and evaluate published literature and attend relevant conferences to maintain up-to-date drug/biomarker association knowledge and enhance the regional customer knowledge base.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences on current products and the needs of the medical community to advance patient care, research, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches.
- Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (as required by Sales and Marketing).
- Promote CMI to physician sites across Europe (as required).
- Read and understand scientific/technical literature for customer engagement.
- Support related duties and special projects as required.
- Assist in field training for contracted speakers (Caris Speakerβs Bureau).
- Act as field trainer for the assigned region (extension of Director of Training).
- Participate in regional speaking engagements (e.g., Roundtables, Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards).
- Attend select regional/national tradeshows and sales meetings to present data.
- Provide commercial input/review of marketing materials reflecting the current molecular landscape.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or Ph.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent training/experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior commercial experience (e.g., Pharmaceuticals or Commercial Lab) (plus).
- Strong background in Molecular Oncology (preferred).
Required Training & Additional Information
- Job-specific safety and compliance training assigned based on job functions.
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel regularly.
