General Summary:
- The Modeling & Simulations Associate Director develops and executes M&S strategies and activities in cross-functional drug development teams, using state-of-the-art Modeling & Simulation methodologies to support critical decision making.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Lead M&S in one or more cross-functional teams; develop and execute integrated Modeling & Simulation plans and analyses aligned with overall development plans.
- Use M&S to support decisions such as study design, dose selection, and probability of success estimation.
- Independently perform mechanism-based PKPD and population PK/PKPD analyses, clinical trial simulations, and other model-based analyses regularly.
- Improve M&S efficiency/effectiveness by supporting training and evaluating/incorporating new M&S tools.

Knowledge And Skills (Qualifications):
- Specialized understanding of biology, pharmacokinetics, and quantitative pharmacology (PKPD).
- Hands-on expertise in population PK/PKPD modeling, mechanistic PKPD modeling, clinical trial simulations, and disease progression modeling.
- Proficiency with NonMem, PsN, R, Phoenix, and similar tools.
- Strong leadership, collaboration/influencing, and verbal/written communication.

Education And Experience:
- Master’s or PhD (preference: pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative discipline with emphasis on pharmacometrics and PKPD modeling).
- Typically: PhD + 6 years, or Master’s + 10 years applying pharmacometric/modeling methodologies in drug research & development.

Pay Range:
- $168,000–$252,000; role eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
