Role Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic development and use of predictive and economic models to quantify and communicate product value to patients, providers, and payers.
- Design and implement cost-effectiveness and budget impact models to support Sanofi’s market access strategy.
- Ensure timely availability of complex and simple clinical/economic models for payer needs.
- Consult with HEVA business partners and Value & Access to determine required models and timelines.
- Perform “what-if” modeling for product strategy/development decisions; guide markets on model adaptation.
- Support countries with local HTA submissions; conceptualize advanced model design and methodological aspects of modeling.
- Analyze prospectively collected health economic data for model inclusion.
- Manage external vendors for modeling development and validation; interface with Pricing and external advisors.
- Lead the Economic Platform workstream for assigned projects; report to the Modeling Head within Global HEVA.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Statistics and/or Health economics.
- PhD in Economics, Health Economics, (Pharmaco)epidemiology, or related field is a plus.
- Preferably additional degree in public health or related field.
- 5+ years in HEOR disciplines (data analyses, health economic methodology/modeling, medical/statistical methodology, publications, decision modeling, input to clinical trials/observational studies).
- Experience designing and executing state-of-the-art modeling (including partitioned survival modeling).
- Advanced survival analysis experience (extrapolation, cure model, relative survival analysis) and R software.
- Experience building models for internal decision-making and payer use; cost-effectiveness to budget impact models for reimbursement/access (Europe/US/other Asian markets).
- Early modeling experience supporting portfolio strategy.
- Experience across therapeutic areas, including oncology.

Skills:
- Fluent English (written/oral); strong organizational/communication skills; ability to explain technical details to non-experts.
- Clear understanding of payer contexts and payer-acceptable methods; knowledge of health utility assessment, health economic methodology, and research principles.
- Strong analytical/statistical skills and project management experience.
