Modeling and Simulation Project Embedment Lead

Role: Drive the integration of Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and AI capabilities into clinical trial workflows within Data & Statistical Sciences at AbbVie, supporting the broader Data and AI Acceleration (DAIA) team. Responsibilities: map existing workflows, identify automation opportunities, oversee tool adoption across Therapeutic Areas, collaborate with solution developers to translate needs into deliverables, reimagine processes, and enable end-user training to foster adoption and efficiency. Requirements: Master’s degree with 8–10 years or PhD with 5–8 years in Statistics, Data Sciences, or related field; extensive experience in clinical trial design as a statistician or data scientist; strong understanding of how M&S and AI can enhance trial workflows; proven ability to bridge business and technical teams; experience in change management within drug development; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
