Entry Level Role in the Mixing department. Mixing operator is responsible for operation of the Mixing and Granulation equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance to ensure the production of quality products.
Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00AM Monday to Friday. $1500 sign-on bonus offered.
Essential Functions:
- Verify room release status before starting Mixing and Granulation; learn and operate Mills, Co-Mills, Vibro Sifter, and Loading/Unloading Drying Ovens with Trays.
- Perform βAβ and βBβ cleaning of βVβ blenders and PIAB; maintain dedicated equipment list and follow SOP (A cleaning 2β3 times/month before product change; B cleaning 1 hour after each batch of same product/potency per shift).
- Operate or tend machines to mix/blend/granulate materials; monitor production and equipment for safe/efficient operation.
- Verify weighing scales/calibration status; check ingredient weighed in Pharmacy against PBR entries; report discrepancies to Supervisor/designee.
- Visually or by hand examine materials/ingredients/products for conformance to standards.
- Record each step after completion; maintain Production batch record; keep room neat, clean, and organized.
- Be familiar with staging area for Mixing/Granulation for dispensed batches by Pharmacy.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (preferred).
- Experience: 1+ year Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing experience.
- Skills (required/preferred): Intermediate English communication; high school math and mechanical skills (intermediate); flexible for extended hours; team-oriented; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Additional requirement: Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
