Position: Laboratory Microbiology Senior Manager

Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage day-to-day business, including coordination and planning to set up QC Micro lab testing for sterility, endotoxin, bioburden, microbial identification, particulate matter, and environmental monitoring.
- Once functional, manage laboratory workload and throughput by interacting with production planners and sample submitters.
- Maintain understanding of lab processes; oversee analyst training on laboratory methods and proper sample handling.
- Develop career plans for laboratory analysts.
- Enforce compliance with procedures, methods, and regulatory commitments; provide technical understanding of cGMP-related regulations.
- Serve as team change agent and safety agent; participate as primary subject matter expert for internal and external audits.
- Maintain a safe work environment and support all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience leading and developing people.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written communication.
- Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory expectations.
- Knowledge/experience with lab testing techniques for endotoxin, bioburden, sterility, utilities support; aseptic techniques and environmental monitoring.
- Ability to focus on continuous improvement.

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a science or engineering discipline (e.g., Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering).

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Effective time management; effective problem-solving.

Other information:
- 8-hour days, Monday–Friday; carry mobile phone off shift to respond to operational issues.
- Minimal travel; able to work in various site areas; possible allergens in parenteral plant; tasks may involve repetitive motion (e.g., keyboarding).
