Role Summary

Mgr, Access & Reimbursement Specialty - Kansas/Nebraska. Location: Kansas or Nebraska. Posted Oct 31 2025. Role requires passion for patient access, thrives in a complex environment, strong problem-solving and collaboration, exemplary customer engagement, and understanding of reimbursement and access.

Responsibilities

  • Support access to GSK Specialty products for appropriate patients.
  • Educate providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies related to GSK specialty products and explain GSK Patient Support Programs.
  • Interface with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors and Specialty Sales teams.
  • Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
  • Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise.
  • Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams.
  • Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs.
  • Support patient access by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement barriers.
  • Report to Director of Specialty Access & Reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required: 3+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement, Payer Marketing, Specialty or Biologics Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided)
  • Required: Ability to travel 2 days/week with overnight travel
  • Required: Live in territory - Kansas or Nebraska
  • Required: Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MPH or other advanced degree
  • Residence within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in larger geographies
  • 6+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement, Specialty/Biologics Field Sales, Payer Marketing, or Patient Support Programs
  • Reimbursement experience for immunology, respiratory, or other specialty products in buy and bill across sites of care
  • Knowledge of payer environment (state, federal, private), reimbursement methodologies, and policies for HCP/self-administered drugs
  • Strong customer focus with relationship-building, issue resolution, problem-solving and project management
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects; capable of leading in a matrix environment
  • Organized, strategic thinker with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient reimbursement environments, regulations, customers, and account-based planning
  • Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy access process
  • Understanding of Commercial, Medicare Parts A-D and state Medicaid reimbursement dynamics
  • Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
  • Experience working with HUB or reimbursement call centers for patient access
