Metrology Tech I

Role: Metrology Technician supporting cGMP clinical and commercial cell therapy manufacturing at Legend Biotech's Raritan, NJ facility. Responsibilities: provide calibration expertise for equipment used in CAR-T production, plan and execute calibration activities, manage work orders and vendor interactions, support startup and validation of instrumentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate across functions including Operations, Quality, Facilities, and Engineering to facilitate robust manufacturing and testing processes. Requirements: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biological, Biochemical, or Bioengineering fields; 4+ years of cGMP cleanroom experience; strong knowledge of metrology, instrumentation, automation, and electrical practices; proficiency with CMMS and regulatory standards (EPA, OSHA, DEA); excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred: technical certification or military equivalent, project and change management skills, experience supporting cell therapy or biologics manufacturing. Work setup: onsite in Raritan, NJ, with exposure to biological materials and hazardous chemicals.
