Operations
Responsibilities:
- Define the maintenance & metrology process structure and strategy for methods, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Provide proactive leadership and technical expertise to sustain optimum reliability and develop/refine preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee calibration and metrology programs; lead troubleshooting/guidance for corrective maintenance.
- Support GMP manufacturing with proactive and reactive maintenance; ensure equipment reliability across production and lab systems.
- Respond to urgent needs with flexibility (up to 25% overtime and shift work based on production cycles); participate in rotating weekly on-call.
- Maintain equipment periodic maintenance plans, spare parts inventory, and departmental operating procedures (periodic reviews/updates).
- Accountable for: Preventive Maintenance Development via FMEA, Simplified Maintenance Review (SMR), OEM/Run-to-Failure assessment with regular review.
- Drive out repetitive mechanical and automated asset/process failures; develop preventive maintenance strategy using criticality/complexity assessments.
- Use predictive/preventive maintenance solutions; provide continuous-improvement plans for equipment/process controls.
- Support automated process controls/building management systems troubleshooting; lead change management and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or related technical field.
- 7+ years in calibration, reliability engineering, root cause analysis, and/or preventive maintenance.
- Participation in digital reliability/automation projects; SME in predictive maintenance/asset performance.
- GMP-controlled environment experience with strict safety/compliance; ability to work 24/7 (occasional overtime/shift).
- Ability to work in manufacturing/lab settings; may require standing/walking and lifting moderate weights; zero-injury safety commitment.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ additional years in relevant calibration/reliability/root-cause/preventive maintenance.
- Experience with PowerBI, RPA, real-time analytics; familiarity with IoT, digital twins, smart manufacturing; understanding of AI for predictive maintenance and asset management.
