Job Summary

The Metrology Coordinator will support the Facilities Department by planning, scheduling, and facilitating calibration and maintenance activities to support Liquidia’s operations. This role will support establishment of facilities systems to support cGMP operations including working with internal customers and external service providers to ensure calibration, preventive maintenance, and general maintenance activities are performed and documented according to standard operating procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external calibration and maintenance activities with end users to ensure activities are completed and documented in accordance with applicable procedures. Coordinate scheduling Facilities activities
  • Assist in deviations, CAPA’s, and change management for facilities.
  • Provide system administration and operation of the electronic asset management system for all calibration and maintenance activities at the facility.
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of equipment and facility assets requiring calibration and maintenance.
  • Input all invoices and purchase orders for Facilities parts, supplies, and needed tools an d equipment. Attach needed invoicing to appropriate work orders.
  • Monitor the schedule for calibration and maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Import and export calibration and maintenance records within the electronic asset management system.
  • Ensure external service provider documentation is received and maintained in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Review calibration and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate the resolution of issues encountered during calibration and maintenance activities.
  • Assist the Validation team in performing commissioning, qualification, and validation activities, as directed.
  • Revise relevant site policies and procedures related to calibration and maintenance.


Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2-10 years of experience in a regulated industry (life sciences preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and high degree of personal accountability.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team with manufacturing, research and development, and analytical staff.
  • Hands-on equipment calibration and maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in a commercial production environment preferred.
  • Experience with computerized systems for scheduling and tracking calibration and maintenance activities preferred.
