MEP Planner (Maintenance)

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Support daily labor force planning/scheduling for 18β25 people.
- Identify jobs to be planned; conduct field checks and review work requests to create time/resource estimates and determine requirements and priority.
- Create, identify, review, and communicate job/work plans, including personnel and material needs.
- Coordinate job execution through meetings/discussions; prepare sketches/drawings/vendor literature; order parts/materials (stockroom or vendors).
- Improve effectiveness through disciplined workforce planning/scheduling; run daily communications meetings, maintain documentation, and generate reports from CMMS.
- Arrange equipment availability and coordinate work schedules with maintenance supervisors, group leaders, and others.
- Maintain PM program integrity by managing CMMS data/instructions (e.g., checklists, spare parts, PM frequency, regulatory/manufacturing schedules, job plan content; PM request/PM change forms).
- Coordinate with other trades/groups, operating departments, supervisors/facility engineers, and outside contractors; verify completed work meets standards/codes/specifications.
- Analyze and distribute performance information; capture data and create performance reports.
Qualifications:
- Associateβs degree (or equivalent) in a trades-related field + 10+ years hands-on experience as a Senior tradesperson.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-skilled trades capability; familiar with basic maintenance tools/equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance computer systems/programs.
- Knowledge of AbbVie policies/procedures impacting maintenance operations.
