Medicinal Chemistry Senior Principal Research Scientist

Role: Senior Principal Research Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry, leading small-molecule drug discovery efforts from early discovery through candidate selection. Responsibilities: develop and execute medicinal chemistry strategies, design and synthesize compounds optimizing potency, selectivity, and pharmacokinetics; interpret SAR, structural biology, DMPK, and safety data; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including biology, DMPK, toxicology, and pharma sciences; provide scientific leadership, mentorship, and communicate program updates to senior management; support IP strategies. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with 6+ years (Ph.D.), 9+ years (Master's), or 11+ years (Bachelor's) of industry experience; proven success in small-molecule discovery and candidate progression; strong expertise in organic synthesis, SAR, and lead optimization; experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering on DMPK/ADME.
