Role Summary

Medical Value and Implementation Science (MVIS) Manager - Health IT Liaison. Territory: North Central United States (MI, OH, IN, IL, IA, KS, KY, MN, MO, OK, ND, SD, WI). You will secure coverage for Amgen brands and support patient access by developing and executing IDN/EHR strategies, educating accounts on MAC-approved EHR materials, and collaborating with the Medical Value and Access teams, MSLs, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional medical and commercial account teams to gather customer insights and assess opportunities
  • Manage the customer accounts prioritization process for the MVIS Health IT Liaisons
  • Partner with Medical and IDN Strategy Team leads and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment
  • Educate accounts using MAC-approved materials related to Electronic Health Records (EHR) supporting multiple therapeutic areas of interest to Amgen
  • Effectively assist through training and communication MSLs and KAMs on MVIS Health IT Liaison and EHR programs and resources and provide support to field staff to address questions
  • Deliver insights related to EHR objectives to key internal partners to help inform strategic decisions
  • Confidently engages customers in a field-facing capacity using appropriate methods and MAC approved materials/messaging
  • Demonstrates effective use of CRM tool to manage territory schedule and call documentation
  • Support cross-functional workstreams to support business initiatives as requested
  • Evolve future MVIS Health IT Liaison strategic and executional plans aligned to overall medical and brand strategic plans
  • Provide feedback and support on targeting strategies, Key Performance Indicators, and POAs

Qualifications

  • Required: Doctorate degree
  • Required: Masterโ€™s degree and 3 years of Medical Capabilities experience
  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree and 5 years of Medical Capabilities experience
  • Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or hospital system
  • Preferred: Understanding of or familiarity with EHR systems within IDNs
  • Preferred: Strong eye for business, analytical skills, and critical thinking ability
  • Preferred: Good understanding of IDNs and key partners
  • Preferred: Interest in population health management and implementation science

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: 30-40% travel may be required
