Medical Transcriptionist - Pathology

Role: Medical Transcriptionist responsible for transcribing gross and microscopic pathology reports, primarily hematopathology and surgical pathology, ensuring accurate data entry into laboratory systems. Responsibilities: transcribe spoken dictations, resolve reporting issues, communicate with pathologists, research problems, and handle billing/reporting for referral tests. Qualifications: High School diploma, excellent data entry and typing skills, strong communication, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: experience with transcription software. High-Value: pathology (hematopathology, surgical pathology), medical transcription, GxP data accuracy, laboratory information systems, and pathology reports. WorkSetup: onsite in Brentwood, TN; schedule Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
