Medical Technologist I

Role: Medical Technologist I in the Core Automated Testing Department, responsible for performing routine and complex lab procedures, monitoring instrumentation, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate test results to support patient care. Responsibilities include specimen assessment, reagent evaluation, preventative maintenance, and assisting with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least one year of clinical lab testing experience. Preferred: Six months or more experience in core automated testing and laboratory operations, with ASCP or AMT certification. High-value: Clinical laboratory testing, automated testing, laboratory information systems, quality control, troubleshooting, and safety practices. Work setup: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 11am-7:30pm; located in Indianapolis, IN; overtime flexibility may be required.
