Medical Technologist

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the Special Chemistry department at Labcorp, Dallas, TX, responsible for specimen assessment, performing routine and complex testing, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Objectives include delivering accurate, timely test results to support patient care and laboratory operations. Responsibilities encompass reagent preparation, preventative maintenance, quality control, and specimen processing as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with 1+ year of clinical lab experience or MLS credential; proficiency with laboratory information systems; strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and in teams; pass a color blindness test; flexible to work overtime or different shifts. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical chemistry testing, routine and complex procedures, instrumentation troubleshooting, quality assurance. Work setup: day shift, 3:30 am–12:00 pm, Sunday–Thursday, onsite in Dallas; flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
