Medical Staff Associate - LPN or LVN or Paramedic or Advanced EMT

Role: Medical Technician or equivalent responsible for donor suitability assessment, immunizations, emergency care, and donor counseling in a plasma collection center. Objectives: ensure safe and compliant plasma donation procedures, maintain donor health and safety, and support immunization programs. Responsibilities: conduct health assessments and review laboratory results to determine donor eligibility, respond to medical emergencies, explain procedures and obtain informed consent, manage immunization schedules, and document data accurately. Collaborates with the Center Medical Director and staff, and refers donors for follow-up as needed. Requirements: graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, or medical school; valid licensure or certification (including foreign medical degrees). Experience: minimum one year in healthcare, with preferred experience in plasma or blood collection environments. Skills: physical assessment, donor instruction, safety protocols, and confidentiality. High-Value: regulated plasma collection, donor health and safety, immunization management, emergency response, and compliance with HSE/OSHA policies. Work setup: primarily on-site with potential for extended hours, physical demand, and exposure to biohazards; bilingual skills may be required.
