Role Summary

The Ophthalmology Medical Specialist will report to the Regional Director and will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with retina specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory to grow revenues and consistently deliver product goals. The Medical Specialist will provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support and will effectively utilize Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with retina specialists and other key customer accounts in the assigned territory to drive revenue and achieve product goals.
  • Provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support to customers.
  • Utilize Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Required: BA/BS in science or business
  • Preferred: Masterโ€™s degree
  • Required: Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • Required: Buy and Bill experience
  • Preferred: Ophthalmology with relevant retina experience
  • Required: Must be based in or located in close proximity to the assigned territory (relocation will not be provided)
  • Required: Ability to travel (40-60%)

Education

  • BA/BS in science or business (masterโ€™s degree a plus)

  • Travel availability 40-60% to cover the Cincinnati/Indiana geography
