Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Gastroenterology (MS)

Location: Miami, FL (Field role)

Responsibilities:
- Engage Gastroenterologists and key customers in an assigned geographic territory; present clinically focused selling messages to create/grow revenue and consistently meet product goals.
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts in the Gastroenterology therapeutic area to generate product utilization.
- Build strong relationships with experts, Gastroenterologists, nurses, office staff, other healthcare personnel, and directed patient advocacy support groups.
- Collaborate with district colleagues, alliance counterparts, and other field/home-office teams to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; support brand/corporate objectives.
- Participate in initiatives to support sales success (e.g., industry congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
- Demonstrate advanced clinically based selling; deliver results in complex markets and institutional/Ambulatory Surgery Center settings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; Masterโ€™s degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, including 2+ years selling in the Gastroenterology market and/or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market.
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.

Preferred/Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong, consistent sales performance exceeding forecasts/expectations; success with product launches.
- Ability to train/in-service office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Passion for science; proactive learning on disease state, treatment options, and healthcare trends.
- Ability to partner with internal field teams and alliance partners.
