The Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Gastroenterology (MS) will report to the District Manager, Gastroenterology, and be responsible for engaging Gastroenterologists and other key customers within an assigned geographical universe to present clinically focused selling messages that create and grow revenue and consistently deliver product goals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key Gastroenterology accounts to generate product utilization
- Build strong working relationships with Gastroenterologists, experts, and other healthcare personnel (nurses, office staff) and key patient advocacy support groups as directed
- Collaborate with district colleagues, alliance counterparts, and other field/home office teams to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in assigned geography
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., industry congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences)

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; Masterโ€™s degree or other advanced education/certifications a plus
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, including 2+ years selling in the Gastroenterology market and/or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market
- Experience with in-servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers
- Ability to partner/collaborate with internal field teams and alliance partners
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories
