Role Summary
Medical Specialist, Dermatology (MS) Des Moines, Iowa. Medical Specialists engage dermatologists and other key customers with clinically-focused sales messaging designed to drive action. Responsibilities
- Developing strategy and executing tactics within key accounts in the Dermatology therapeutic area
- Establishing and fostering strong working relationships with health care professionals, including nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy support groups
- Collaborating with regional colleagues and other field-based and home office personnel to proactively address customer needs
- Analyzing market dynamics and trends to develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives
- Engaging in initiatives to promote sales success such as industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree; minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience in specialty/pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical; minimum 2 years selling in Immunology market or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market; dermatology experience preferred; ability to travel and cover large geographic territories; residence within the listed territory.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or other advanced education/certifications; demonstrated success and consistent sales performance in complex markets across diverse customer segments.
Education
