Role Summary
The Medical Specialist I - Allergy role is based in Phoenix S and serves key markets including Tucson, Gilbert, Mesa, and Phoenix. The Medical Specialist engages Allergists and Immunologists and other healthcare professionals with clinically focused sales messaging to generate product utilization, while upholding high integrity and compliance in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Developing strategy and executing tactics within key accounts in Allergy/Immunology to generate product utilization.
- Establishing and fostering strong working relationships with Allergy/Immunology healthcare professionals including physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, office staff and other personnel as well as patient advocacy support groups as directed.
- Collaborating with regional colleagues, as well as other field-based and home office personnel teams to proactively address customer needs.
- Analyzing market dynamics and trends to develop strategies which support brand and corporate objectives.
- Participating in initiatives to support sales success such as industry-related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: Masterβs degree or other advanced education/certifications.
- Required: 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Required: Minimum 2 yearsβ sales in Immunology or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market.
- Preferred: Allergy/Immunology experience.
- Required: Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.
