Medical Specialist I (Allergy) - Orange County N, CA

Role Summary

Medical Specialist I (Allergy) engages Allergists, Immunologists and other key customers in the Orange County region to present clinically focused sales messaging that drives product utilization. The role requires integrity and adherence to ethical standards aligned with company values. This position offers a fast-paced, results-oriented, customer-focused environment and opportunities to collaborate with regional and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing strategy and executing tactics within key accounts in our Allergy/Immunology therapeutic areas to generate product utilization
• Establishing and fostering strong working relationships with Allergy/Immunology health care professionals including physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, office staff and other important personnel as well as key patient advocacy support groups as directed
• Collaborating with regional colleagues, as well as other field-based and home office personnel teams to proactively address customer needs
• Analyzing market dynamics and trends to develop strategies which support brand and corporate objectives
• Participating in initiatives to support sales success such as industry-related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.

Qualifications

• Required: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: A master’s degree or other advanced education/certifications
• Required: A minimum of 5 years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
• Required: A minimum of 2 years’ sales in the Immunology or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market
• Preferred: Allergy/Immunology experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
