Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor center staff responsible for donor screening, registration, and education at plasma collection centers. Objectives include verifying donor suitability through health assessments, sample collection, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Responsibilities encompass conducting medical screenings (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, finger stick tests), educating donors about plasma products and procedures, accurately recording data, and monitoring donor reactions. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 months experience in customer service or medical-related roles, with basic math skills. Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, manual dexterity, and excellent communication. Preferred: Bilingual abilities may be required. Work environment: Fast-paced, requiring standing/walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, PPE use, and extended hours; exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
