Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Plasma donation center associate responsible for donor registration, health screening, and post-donation monitoring. Responsibilities encompass conducting health assessments (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, finger stick analysis), educating donors about plasma products, recording donor data accurately, and responding to donor reactions or flow issues. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, minimum three months in customer service or medical-related roles, and basic math skills. Preferred skills include bilingual ability and experience with health environments. The role involves manual dexterity, standing, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, with exposure to blood-borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and extreme temperatures. It requires working extended hours in a fast-paced setting, following OSHA and HSE policies, and may include cross-training in other areas. The position reports to the Assistant Center Manager and may involve limited travel.
