Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service) (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Plasma center associate responsible for donor registration, screening, and basic health assessments to ensure donor suitability for plasma pheresis. Responsibilities include conducting health history reviews, vital signs measurement, finger sticks for hematocrit and protein testing, donor education, data entry, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. May assist with donor registration, answer inquiries, and monitor donor reactions, ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and confidentiality. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; at least three months experience in clerical, customer service, or health-related settings; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions; manual dexterity; physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds; capable of working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemicals. Preferred: Bilingual skills and cross-training in other center functions. Work setup: primarily on-site with requirement for overtime and extended hours; may include working in hazardous environments and wearing PPE.
