Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service) (Bilingual- English/Spanish)

Role: Donor Services Associate at a plasma collection center, responsible for donor registration, health screening, and education on plasma donation and therapeutic products. Responsibilities include verifying donor suitability through medical history assessment, vital sign measurement, finger sticks, and data entry; providing donor education on donation process, plasma-derived therapies, and center policies; ensuring donor safety by monitoring for reactions; and maintaining a clean, compliant environment. May assist with donor registration and transfer, answer calls, and support hyperimmune programs as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in customer service or medical environment; basic math skills; ability to perform manual tasks, observe safety protocols, and handle hazardous conditions. Preferred skills: bilingual may be required; ability to work in a fast-paced setting with extended hours; understanding of OSHA/HSE policies. Work setup: primarily on-site with potential for cross-training; physical effort includes standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; environment includes exposure to chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and temperature extremes.
