Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service) (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Donor center technician responsible for greeting plasma donors, conducting health screenings, and ensuring donor suitability for pheresis. Responsibilities include performing health assessments (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, finger stick), explaining donation procedures, and maintaining accurate electronic records. May assist in donor registration, transfer donors, answer calls, and educate donors on plasma-derived products. Also tasked with monitoring donor well-being during and after donation, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring a clean work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months customer service or clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting; basic math skills. High-value specifics: role involves compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and HSE policies, with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicals. Cross-training and bilingual skills may be required. Work setup: fast-paced environment requiring standing, walking, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; overtime and extended hours may be needed.
