Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service) (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Donor Center Associate responsible for donor registration, health screening, and process support at a plasma collection center. Primary objectives include verifying donor eligibility, conducting health assessments, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety protocols. Responsibilities encompass screening donors through health history, vital signs, finger sticks, and education on plasma donation and therapeutic products; maintaining accurate electronic donor records; managing supplies and environment; and ensuring safety and confidentiality. The role may involve cross-training in other center functions, handling inquiries via phone, and supporting hyper immune programs where applicable. Required qualifications include at least a high school diploma and a minimum of three months’ experience in clerical, customer service, or healthcare environments, with proficiency in basic math. The position demands manual dexterity, ability to stand and walk extensively, and adherence to safety protocols due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemicals. Work conditions involve a fast-paced setting with potential overtime and extended hours, necessitating PPE use and safety awareness. Preferred bilingual skills may be advantageous. The role is operationally focused with no specified travel or remote work components.
