Role: Donor center staff responsible for greeting donors, conducting health screenings, and ensuring proper registration for plasma pheresis procedures. Responsibilities include obtaining health histories, performing blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature checks, and finger stick testing for hematocrit and protein levels; educating donors on plasma products and policies; recording data accurately in electronic systems; monitoring donor well-being during and after donation; maintaining a safe, clean environment; and adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related roles; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions, perform manual tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or health provider settings preferred. High-value biopharma specifics: plasma donation, donor health and safety, bloodborne pathogen precautions, potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, and compliance with OSHA/HSE policies. The role may involve cross-training and bilingual skills depending on organizational needs. Work environment includes standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, extended hours, and use of PPE; overtime may be required.
