Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor Services Associate at a plasma collection center, responsible for screening donors, verifying eligibility, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, finger stick for hematocrit and protein), educating donors on plasma donation and therapeutic products, recording data accurately, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. May assist with registration and transfer of donors, answer phone inquiries, and monitor donor reactions, escalating as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills. Skills: Ability to follow instructions, manual dexterity, physical stamina (standing, lifting up to 25 lbs), and high awareness of safety protocols, including OSHA and HSE policies. Preferred: Bilingual skills. Work setup: Fast-paced environment requiring overtime and extended hours, with exposure to blood-borne pathogens and chemicals, wearing PPE as required.
