Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor registration and screening technician at plasma collection centers, responsible for verifying donor eligibility, performing health assessments, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Responsibilities: conduct health history reviews, vital signs, finger sticks for hematocrit and protein levels, educate donors on plasma donation and related policies, record data accurately, monitor donor reactions, and maintain a safe environment. May assist with donor registration, answer inquiries, and support hyperimmune program activities. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills. High-Value: involves blood collection operations, health screening, donor education, and data management; may require bilingual skills; work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. WorkSetup: physical presence at the center with overtime and extended hours possible; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
