Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Plasma donation center staff responsible for donor registration, health screening, and educational outreach. Objectives: ensure compliant, efficient screening and assist with donor processing. Responsibilities: conduct health assessments including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and finger stick tests; verify donor eligibility; educate donors on plasma products, center policies, and nutrition; maintain accurate electronic records; monitor donor reactions; support hyperimmune program activities if applicable; ensure a safe, clean environment; handle caller inquiries and maintain confidentiality. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum three months in clerical, customer service, or healthcare-related roles; basic math skills. Preferred: bilingual skills; ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
