Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor center associate responsible for screening and registering plasma donors, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety protocols. Objectives: verify donor eligibility, educate donors on plasma donation and related processes, and maintain accurate data records. Responsibilities: conduct health assessments (blood pressure, pulse, hematocrit), perform finger sticks, assist with donor registration, answer donor queries, monitor donor reactions, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills. High-Value: role supports plasma collection operations, involving donor screening, health assessments, and data management, with an emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HSE/OSHA policies. Work setup: fast-paced environment, requiring standing and walking up to 100%, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs, with potential overtime, extended hours, and use of PPE; bilingual skills may be preferred.
