Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor center technician responsible for donor screening, registration, and ensuring compliance with SOPs in plasma pheresis collection. Objectives include verifying donor suitability, educating donors on donation processes, and maintaining safety and data accuracy. Responsibilities: conduct health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, hematocrit), assist with donor registration, answer donor questions, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure proper documentation and environment cleanliness. May support hyper immune programs and be cross-trained in other functions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions; manual dexterity; ability to lift up to 25 lbs; willing to work in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment with PPE, extended hours, and overtime. Preferred skills include bilingual ability and healthcare-related experience.
