Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor screening technician at a plasma collection center, responsible for verifying donor eligibility and performing health assessments. Responsibilities include conducting health history questionnaires, measuring vital signs, performing finger sticks for hematocrit and protein levels, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. May educate donors on plasma-derived therapeutic products, assist with registration, handle inquiries, and monitor donor reactions. Ensures accurate documentation and maintains a clean, safe environment per HSE and OSHA protocols. May be cross-trained and bilingual skills may be required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months customer service or clerical experience, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills.
