Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor screener and registrar at a plasma collection center, responsible for verifying donor eligibility, conducting health screenings, and educating donors. Responsibilities: perform health assessments including blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, finger stick hematocrit, and protein tests; manage donor registration and data entry; respond to donor questions and assist in education about plasma products; monitor donors during and after donation for adverse reactions; ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and maintain a clean environment. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months customer service or clerical experience, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills; able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, and wearing PPE.
