Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service)

Role: Donor Center Associate responsible for donor registration, health screening, and blood chemistry testing at a plasma collection center. The primary objective is to ensure donor suitability and safety during plasma pheresis in compliance with SOPs. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), performing finger stick tests, educating donors on plasma-derived products, managing donor data entry, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. The associate is also involved in donor registration transfer, answering inquiries, monitoring for adverse reactions, and supporting hyper immune program policies if applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in customer service, preferably healthcare-related; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions and observe safety protocols; manual dexterity; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; capable of working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood-borne pathogens and chemicals. Preferred skills include bilingualism and cross-training. The role reports to the Assistant Center Manager and involves working extended hours and overtime to meet operational needs.
